The workshop aims to help micro to small businesses get their business ranked for popular and relevant keyword searches, with the goal of increasing website traffic, leads and conversions.
The workshop will begin by introducing key SEO concepts and busting SEO myths. The facilitator will then explain what’s new in SEO in 2018, including some new terms such as semantics and structured data.Each business will take part in an online activity to identify relevant and high volume keywords for their website and will be equipped with an on-page SEO checklist.
Understand what makes an effective link building strategy and how to use blogger outreach and other white-hat techniques to build high quality links to your website. We will look at 3 live Google Analytics accounts, understanding which reports are useful for small business and how we can interpret the data to inform and improve future marketing activity.
